It is noted that the head of the Catholic Church was operated on July 4 at a Roman clinic for intestinal issues. After the operation, he was diagnosed with "slight narrowing of a serious and remaining without complications."
"I thank everyone for the kind words of support and prayer. Please continue to pray for me," wrote Pope Francis.
